Filler Friday: What the Hell Happened

If you've been reading uber.nu these past two weeks, you probably have some questions.
One of them is most likely, "What the hell is going on here?"
Also, and this is just a guess, you have another one that goes something like "Why does uber such so much?"
And, maybe, "When will this betterhan uber crap end?"
I'm here this Fine Fine Filler Friday to assure you: I have these same questions.
Unfortunately, I have none of the answers.
However, I had our lovely and talented uber.nu secretary bring up the transcript from the last uber staff meeting:
ben: so we'll have this guest writer week where people "take over" uber.nu - and call it *betterthan* uber.
adam: i don't have to do any work for a week, and uber still gets updated?
ben: right
andy: count me in!
andrea: yes! no mentions of fart.jpg from adam! for a whole week!
adam: oh, wait, maybe this isn't such a good idea...
ben: remember the no work for a week thing?
adam: good point. brilliant idea. i love it.
Like any good contributor on vacation, I ignored the site for a week.
Then, like any good irresponsible louse, I ignored the site for another week.
Meanwhile, everything fell apart. I came back from my vacation to find, get this a "funny" piece about Survivor masquerading as a Filler Friday!
I blame myself. It's one thing for uber.nu to fall apart, but oh, don't fuck with Filler Friday.
But fear not fine uber.nu readers! I am here to save uber.nu from the sort of mediocrity and carelessness that has befallen it by writing a stellar, wonderful, genius, funny, and all around jim-dandy Filler Friday. (Never mind that Filler Friday has become synonymous with the words "mediocrity" and "carelessness.")
I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to do that since I just wasted a bunch of space saying the above, also, I don't particularly have anything planned for this week, and since I haven't left my room in about three weeks I don't really have anything to write about, except how they're showing the third season of Sailor Moon on Cartoon Network, and man oh man is it awesome! Somehow though, I can never really properly express that...
I know, I'll write about how much better than uber week sucked!
Nah, too obvious.
Maybe we should discuss, calmly and rationally, how completely ugly and nonsensical the magic marker on cardboard design was, and how there was this much better quality anti-uber design that utilized blue and black to contrast the uber red and white everyone has come to love so very very much.
But I can't seem to find a link to that design.
Ah well, never mind.
Adam Mathes is just using this as a beta-test.
